As Texan As A Texan Can Be
I’m as Texan as a Texan can be, with roots that formed this great State. Descended from the Brown brothers, who arrived in the region in 1829. Both brothers enlisted in the Republic of Texas Navy in 1836 to fight tyranny and oppression. Captain Jeramiah Brown, his ship captured Santa Anna’s 1000-man group of re-enforcements that were headed for the battle of San Jacinto stopping a potential repeat of the Alamo. The Powell side of the family you will find listed in the original Texas 300 settlers. After San Jacinto both the Brown’s and Powell settled into the area today know as Baytown, where I was raised, just across the ship channel from the San Jacinto battlefield and the original home of the Battleship Texas. With Honesty, Integrity and keeping the best interest for our fellow neighbors at heart, since before Texas was Texas. Raised with a moral compass that clearly knows right from wrong and guides that path.
